No pets allowed. Service animals are always welcome. Unauthorized pets will result in cancellation without refund and may incur an additional cleaning fee.

Absolutely NO PARTIES or events. The City of South Haven enforces strict regulations for short-term rentals. Parties are strictly prohibited, and quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Any unauthorized party will result in a $500 penalty plus the cost of all damages and a cancellation of the remainder of your stay.

Quiet hours: 10:00 pm – 8:00 am (city ordinance).

No smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes indoors. A $500 penalty applies for violations.

Maximum occupancy: 8 guests.

Minimum booking age: 25 years old.

Use of bikes: Available at your own risk. We are not responsible for injuries.

Park in the driveway or the street. Don’t block the sidewalk.

By booking, you agree to abide by all house rules.

Guests are provided with high-speed internet. The name and password are posted in the kitchen. If there is any loss of service please contact us right away.

We offer a variety of pots and pans. Lids are located in drawer under the oven.

Hand mixer is located in top drawer to right of fridge.

There is a whole drawer full of measuring cups/spoons, tongs, and other gadgets.

Toaster and crockpot are in cabinet above microwave.

Many basic spices are provided in cabinet to the right of microwave.

Cookie sheets/baking pans/baking dishes are in bottom cabinet all the way to the right of the kitchen (away from fridge).

Large serving tray is located in bottom cabinet all the way to the left of the kitchen (near fridge). There is also a roasting pan in there.

Kitchen hot pads and towels are in drawer to the left of stove.

Ziploc bags, aluminum foil, and food wrap are in drawer to the left of stove.

Cleaning products, dishwasher pods, and extra paper towel are located under sink.

This room is not heated/cooled. Please keep door to the kitchen closed in order to keep cool air/heat in the main areas.

Beach umbrella, blanket, towels, kite, and pop-up tent are hanging in the stairway to basement. Please enjoy these items, take care of them, and return them where you found them.

Bug spray is located in basket on shelves.

Marshmallow roasters  are hanging in entryway.

Forget something? As a courtesy to our guests, we have some basic items available for purchase in the baskets on the shelves. Venmo ID is attached to the baskets for quick/easy payment.

We have a fully stocked coffee bar! We have a Keurig, coffee pot, and tea kettle. We supply a variety of k cups, tea, ground coffee, hot cocoa packets, local honey, flavored syrups, creamer, and sugar. If you run out of any of these during your stay, there are extras in the drawers of the coffee bar.
There is also an indoor smores maker on the shelf of the coffee bar for you to use if the weather is not cooperating for an outdoor fire.

The Dishwasher: We provide a supply of washer pods under the kitchen sink- you will need to insert one into the flip box container on the inside of the dishwasher door. Then press the program button of your choice-then press the start button. DO NOT USE DISH SOAP INT HE DISHWASHER.

The Fridge/Freezer: You should not need to adjust any settings. If you run into any difficulties (e.g. it's not cooling efficiently) please let us know.

The Stove, Oven & Microwave: The stove top and oven are electric and the microwave is a standard microwave. They're all very user friendly, no complicated bells or whistles!

Kitchen sink: The kitchen sink does have a garbage disposal.

Toaster oven/air fryer: It’s a 3-in-1. Just select which setting you prefer: bake, air fry, or toast.

Washer and dryer:  They are located in the basement. There is a supply of Tide pods for your use. To operate the washer, simply select the program you want, place the detergent in the washer, close the door, and push the start button. For the dryer, clean the lint trap in between loads of laundry, choose a program, and push start.

There are 4 smart tv’s in the house. You will need to sign into your own Netflix/Hulu/Prime accounts. Don’t forget to sign out when you leave.

There is a Bose speaker on the end table in the living room.

There  is a Bluetooth radio on the shelf in the basement game room. Instructions for use are taped  to the back of the radio.

Remotes to the TV in master bedroom and queen bedroom are in the drawer of nightstand.

Turn living room candles on with remote.  The remote is located in the basket on the coffee table.

The thermostat is located near the coffee bar. To increase or decrease the temperature, swipe your finger up or down on the right side of the thermostat. To change the mode, tap the side of the thermostat to bring up the menu. Swipe your finger up or down and tap to select. If you're running the air conditioner or heat, please make sure that all windows and outside doors are closed to ensure it operates to maximum efficiency. If it is greater than 100 degrees outside, please do not turn air above 70 degrees as it can damage the unit.

The light switch to dining room light is next to the thermostat. The light is dimmable.

Turn indoor fireplace on with switch in upper right-hand corner. There are 2 switches: one for heat and one for flames (ambiance).

Each bedroom has a sound machine.
Each bedroom has a fan: master has a ceiling fan; the other 2 bedrooms have a small table fan. The remote to the ceiling fan is in the nightstand drawer.
There are 2 box fans in the closet in the bedroom to the right of the stairs.

Pillows/blankets:
You will find extra pillows and blankets in the bedrooms.
The pull out sofa takes queen sheets, if you let us know in advance, we will put clean sheets out for you.

Pack n play is in basement.
Highchair and booster seat are in basement.
Baby gate is in basement.
Stroller is in garage.
Beach wagon is in garage.
Games/toys/books are in basket on shelf in living room.

Outdoor lights:
The lights on the front porch and  near the fire pit are on a timer. They will come on at dusk.

Outdoor area:

Fire pit is in the side yard. Firewood is near fire pit. Lighters are in the top drawer all the way to right in the kitchen (to the right of dishwasher). Fire starter fluid and matches are along the wall near the propane tank in the garage. Please be mindful of fire safety, do not leave the fire unattended, and be sure it is completely done burning when you are finished enjoying your fire.

Marshmallow roasting sticks are hanging in the entryway.

Feel free to use the hammock. It might need a good shaking off.
*Grill is on front porch. Back up propane tank is in garage. If you use the grill, kindly clean it when you are done.

The backyard has additional seating with privacy panels. This area is a little more intimate and is a relaxing spot to hang out.The lights on the panels are solar powered and will turn on at dusk.

We are located in a residential community, although this is a holiday destination, it's home to many people. We ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 10pm and 8am noise should be kept to a minimum.

No fireworks are allowed at this property at anytime.

There is a keypad to get into the garage. Enter the code 1105 and then push the Kwikset button. To lock it just push the Kwikset button.

Yard games, beach wagon, stroller, cooler, beach chairs, bikes, bike trailer, and helmets are in the garage. Please enjoy these items, take care of them, and return them where you found them. 

Extra lawn chairs are in the garage.

Bike locks are hanging on the board in the garage. There is a colored symbol painted on each lock. The color of that symbol matches the key for that lock (example: the blue flower goes with the blue clip).

There are additional games and coloring supplies in the lower cabinet in dining room.

Wine opener, bottle opener, and blender are located in bar cabinet in dining room.

Extra items are located on the bar cart in sunroom.

Hair dryers are located in cabinet/on shelf in both bathrooms.

There is an iron and clothes steamer in the cabinet of main floor bathroom.

Broom, dust pan, vacuum, and mop are located by furnace in basement.

Bath towels, washcloths, and hand towels are in cabinet/on shelves in both bathrooms.

Extra toilet paper is in on shelf in both bathrooms.

Since this is an older home, you may experience a decline in water pressure if you run multiple items at once. Please be sure not to run dishwasher, washing machine, and shower at once for the best water pressure during your shower.

If your stay falls on a Monday or Tuesday, you may see someone swing by to take garbage to the road/bring back to house. Just want you to be aware so that you are not surprised.

In case of a health emergency, Bronson Hospital Emergency Department is just around the corner on Blue Star Highway.

If something breaks during your stay, please let us know as soon possible so that we can replace it!
